French alps........ Now we are in the french alps, dynamic jagged mountain peaks jut out of emerald green valleys. Lakes as blue and clear as tahoe, but surrounded by charming, ancient towns. Annesy is considered the venice of france. Its pretty amazing. A huge lake, with water that channels into canals , which go into the city. The old buildings are built on these canals and you can walk across the water back and forth over bridges stopping at pubs, cafes , shops. So cute. Sparkling clean also. I like it more than paris. If you want to come to france, this would be one of my top recommendations. We have had a lot of rain today. Its okay. We have had fantastic weather the whole trip so we really cant complain. Going to visit geneva tomorrow. Were getting excited about sweden, and looking forward to being with friends. We ate the most delicious lunch today. Fondue that was ooey, and gooey and divine. I may weigh five hundred pounds by the end of this trip, but its all worth it. Well that it for now folks.
