The awesomeness just gets better and better...

So today we decided we had enough of the Atlantic ocean. To the dordogne region, Oh my gosh it's amazing. I can't believe it here. First of all, it's completely green and lush and full of wild flowers and mossy rocks and the most amazing trees. Then you add in chateaus and castles and rock walls. And if that's not enough there is more Fred flinstone homes built right into the rock mountains. Incredible! We just passed through all the coolness today, in a hurry to get to our campground so kids could swim and we could all eat. I was getting a bit nervous because it is sunday and we had no food and everything appeared to be closed. I had read our campground had a very good restaurant so we were very pleased to find it open. We slid up to the bar and had a great Belgium beer, then up to eat. WOW!!! How cool to discover the best food we have yet to have in France while camping. Only here can you camp out and eat escargot and duck and foigrau ( I can eat it but not spell it) THis is the very coolest place to stay, the restaurant and bar is in a very old beautiful house. The scenery is wonderful. Can't wait to wake up tomorrow. Well for now bonnuit!
