I have a correction to make. We were not careless after all. That scoundrel of a criminal broke the window open from the outside. We saw this after further investigation. Jim is pretty sure he solved the crime also. We figured the crime had Tom e committed by someone on the inside foe the camp who knew we were out. Also Jim saw the eurocamp guy ( the shady one) staring in our car when we first arrived. Further research showed he has only been here two months , not three years like Tim the good eurocamp guy.Tim said in the three years he's been here he's never seen this happen.The shifty eyes and avoiding the conversation when Jimmie brought up the theft convinced Jim this is the crook who ripped us off. I have tried to not let this sway my opinion of Spain,but I am not impressed. Barcelona was as good as any city. Tim our camp host warned us though that if someone tries to wave us down and say we have a flat tire to just keep driving because they probably want to rip us off. So the whole day I was so overly Aware of thieves thAt it kind of rained on my parade. We become overly suspicious of eveyone, so when a man tried telling us their was something left on the roof our car, we smirked back " ya right buddy that's the oldest trick in the book" haha hahah you can't trick us. Later we found Coles journal on the top of the car.
