The knights templar...

Today we got a little history lesson, went to the a little of domme, where in 1307 the king had all the knights thrown into this prison under false accusations because he wanted to reclaim their land since he was going broke. The Knights carved into the stone walls. The first graffiti. The boys and jimmy all climbed up the tower walls to peer into the cross shaped windows and see the writing on the walls. We also took a cave tour in the middle of this tiny town is some magnificent caves that were discovered in 1912 by some ten year old boys who scaled a very steep cliff and castle wall to find. They were pretty awesome, filled with staligtites. This was Brocks favorite thing that he has seen. Cole was petrified. Poor guy, He is just like his gramma sharyn. I had to coax him in but he didn't like it. I kept trying to remind him these caves have Been here for thousands of years and his reply was( exactly that's why they are ready to collapse at any moment) Well he got through the end of it which popped out at a castle with most incredible view of this valley, the dourdogne river.
Jim makes a new friend every five minutes. He can't resist striking up conversations wherever we are.
If I were going to live anywhere I ever wanted I think this would be it. I cannot imagine seeing or being anywhere more peaceful and beautiful than this place.
